Preparing for Rainhill 2025
A spoof 1950s-style newsreel imagines British Pathé newsreels existing in 2025, featuring the Liverpool and West Lancs. ‘O’ Gauge Group as they prepare their layout, ‘Ballan Road,’ for the upcoming Rainhill Model Railway Show on March 1st and 2nd at Rainhill High School.

LAWLOGG’s Successful Visit Amid Storm Chaos
Despite severe winds and rain outside, Lawlogg successfully presented exhibits at the Gauge O Guild’s Winter Show on 7th December 2024, attracting interest and future membership enquiries.

Open Day 16th Nov. ’24
The first open day at LAWLOGG in Bootle attracted over 40 visitors, marking a resumption after 20 years. Attendees enjoyed various layouts and demonstrations, including electronic control systems. Feedback from visitors was positive, and the committee anticipates scheduling another event in May 2025.

Ellis Clark ‘Black 5’ Trials
A member of Lawlogg received the eagerly anticipated ‘Black 5’ locomotive from Ellis Clark Trains, which was showcased on the test track. The club is preparing for upcoming exhibitions, such as the Modern Image ‘O’ Gauge Show and Rainhill Show. Meanwhile, various layouts like Ballan Road and Fernhill Junction are being operated and upgraded.
