Only three weeks ahead of the OPEN DAY (Sat. 17th May 2025) at Liverpool and West Lancs. ‘O’ Gauge Group, the baseboards for a new modern-image wagon works have just landed at the clubrooms, 3 miles north of Liverpool city centre.
They were made in our treasurer’s garage and brought in the back of his car … which is the whole point – a compact modern-image exhibition layout that should avoid the need to hire a van.
Here they are, adorned with some (as yet un-weathered) new wagons … along with some pics of visiting locos running on the layouts at our previous open day.
Feel free to bring your O-gauge stock for a run and see for yourself our four existing layouts, plus various other displays and s/h sales etc.
Admission free (donations welcome). Free parking. Public transport nearby. Light refreshments. Demonstrations. Pick up a used bargain!
