With almost perfect timing, storm Darragh caused havoc to transport with violent winds and unusually high rainfall but, despite the chaos outside, Lawlogg battled through to provide a range of exhibits for the new Winter Show, organised by the Gauge O Guild, at Robin Park Leisure Centre in Wigan on Saturday 7th December 2024. (Fortunately the flood warning for the River Douglas potentially inundating the area was rescinded on Friday morning.)

There were many conversations with visitors interested to hear about the club, with some taking membership application forms and expressing interest in visiting. The test track proved useful to various attendees wanting to test locomotives prior to purchasing them from the many and varied trade stands.
Members are now looking forward to their next outing, at the Rainhill Model Railway Show on 1st/2nd March 2025 … and hoping for better weather!
