Welcome to our new website and our new name!
The closure of our previous website provider has accelerated some recent musings by members in the clubrooms that people might not realise that the West Lancs. group is actually located in Liverpool and so we might be missing out on attracting potential members in the local area.
To coincide with the urgent need to create a replacement website, the decision was taken to add ‘Liverpool and’ to our name, to emphasise where we’re located and to avoid the cost and hassle of having to create a new website at a new location using the old name … and then do it all over again at yet another new location a little while later, with a new name.
The new website has been created in time for The Big Model and Hobby Show, in Formby, where we’ll be exhibiting Ballan Road, along with our display stand and the test track, this Saturday (5th Aug. ’23). Consequently, the new website is a little bare at present but stay tuned for more additions as time marches on.
